Job Description

Sinch is a global leader in cloud communications, helping businesses connect with their customers through messaging, voice, and email. Our platform powers billions of interactions every year — from transactional alerts and marketing campaigns to rich, AI-driven conversations.

We're at an inflection point. As enterprise communication shifts from one-way messaging to intelligent, multi-turn conversations, Sinch is building the products and infrastructure that will define this next chapter. That means investing in agentic AI, conversational intelligence, and the orchestration layer that ties it all together.

About the role

This isn't just another Procurement position; it's a unique opportunity to be a key driver in Sinch's - one of Sweden’s most exciting tech companies, global procurement transformation. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Procurement Partner to lead the critical Data & Analytics Category. This category includes handling Sinch´s Hyperscaler agreements as well as Data Management & Governance and Data Subscriptions & Content.

You will step into a pivotal role, taking ownership of a key spend category and moving it from a decentralized, ad-hoc state to a centralized model built on best-in-class frameworks. If you are a change agent who excels at creating order from complexity and wants to leave a tangible legacy, this role is for you.

This position is based at our Stockholm office (Kungsholmen) and offers a hybrid model, with an expectation of 2-3 days in the office per week. You will be part of a Global Team with team members in New Delhi (Noida), Sao Paulo and Stockholm. This role reports to the Director of Procurement, also based in the Stockholm office.

Key responsibilities

Your primary mission will be to accelerate the transformation of our Data & Analytics Category. While you will also manage other categories, your success will be measured by your ability to build, implement, and drive adoption of a new strategic sourcing framework.

  • Lead the Data & Analytics Category: Take full ownership of structuring the Hyperscaler agreements in close collaboration with the Cloud Governance Team. You will design and implement the strategy to align and drive Sinch Global Cloud Governance Strategy as a proactive, centralized procurement model.

  • Drive Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation: Lead end-to-end sourcing projects, from RFPs and contract renewals to complex renegotiations. Your focus will be on establishing global framework agreements that deliver value, mitigate risk, and create efficiency.

  • Be a Trusted Partner to the Business: Act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders. A crucial part of your role is to guide and influence business leaders, helping them navigate and embrace new procurement processes in a rapidly evolving organization.

  • Manage Key Categories: Beyond the Hyperscalers, you will oversee the Data Management & Governance as well as Data Subscriptions as needed within our collaborative team and your stakeholders across the Sinch business.

  • Champion Process Excellence: Go beyond just managing projects—actively identify, design, and implement process improvements that bring lasting structure and efficiency to the procurement lifecycle.

About you

We are looking for a seasoned procurement professional who is energized by ambiguity and has a proven track record of building functions from the ground up. You are a pragmatic, results-oriented change agent who knows how to bring people along on a transformation journey.

To thrive in this role, you should bring:

  • Strategic Procurement Background: Approximately 5-10 years of strategic procurement experience, with a proven track record in a transformation-focused role where you have successfully built and implemented new procurement frameworks.

  • A Builder & Change Agent Mindset: Demonstrable experience taking complex or decentralized spend categories and transforming them into structured, centralized functions.

  • Category Expertise: Expertise in the Data & Analytics category (including Hyperscalers, Data Governance, or Data Subscriptions) is highly desirable. Broad IT procurement experience is also a strong plus, though the right strategic mindset can compensate for specific category gaps.

  • Exceptional Negotiation & Influence: Powerful negotiation skills combined with a history of managing and advising senior stakeholders, balancing necessary processes with strong, collaborative business relationships.

  • Resilience & Autonomy: The ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. You don't wait for instructions, you see the goal, create the plan, and execute.

  • Systems & Tools Savvy: Practical experience with common ERP/P2P systems is beneficial, as is familiarity with leveraging AI tools to drive efficiency.
